On to Boy Scouts

This has been an extremely stressful week! I've been getting ready for the Annual Blue & Gold Banquet.

Of all years, this one was really really special to me. Collin was awarded the Arrow-of-Light. This is the highest award that can be received in Cub Scouting. Aside from religious emblems, it is the only award that can be worn on the Boy Scout uniform.

After the A-o-L ceremony, he crossed over to Troop 52. I can't tell you how much this means to me. We've spent four years working towards this goal.

It's hard to think he's on his way to becoming a man. This is the first time they said the Scout Law after crossing over. (Our six boys are on the right.)

My parents (from Kerrville) and my sister & kids came to witness the big step in Collin's young life.
